Carrie Lynch named February Colleague of
Month for Lincoln Memorial Hospital

Lynch, RN, with the Emergency Department (ED), is the nonprofit
hospital’s Colleague of the Month for February.
Safety is a priority for Lynch who consistently rounds on all patients
and quickly addresses needs. She double and triple checks orders to
ensure safety. She picks up shifts so her fellow employees won’t be
short-staffed, and she will stay after her shift is over if the ED is
hectic.
She provides new employees with step-by-step instructions on ED
processes including sample forms for everything from radio logs to
transport forms. During downtime in the ED, Lynch makes sure cabinets
are stocked and sweeps and mops floors as needed.
“Carrie treats everyone she encounters with respect and holds others to
that same standard,” wrote her nominator.

Lynch has worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital since 2019.
