The
menu included pancakes, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits and
gravy, and fried potatoes and guests and the meal was “all you can
eat.” That left the door wide open for those in attendance to enjoy
a huge meal, once, twice, even thrice if they so desired.
The line to get breakfast started at 7 a.m. and continued until
noon.
Members of Good News (High School) and Heartsong (Junior High)
choirs, under the direction of Laurin Hill, benefit from the
proceeds raised.
Good News will go on tour June 6-13, 2023, to Missouri, Kansas,
Texas, and Illinois. The home concert is Monday, June 5, 2023, at
Lincoln Christian Church.
Heartsong will go first from April 21-23, 2023, to Little Galilee
Christian Camp near Clinton, and to more venues in Raymond and
Springfield. The Heartsong home concert will be Sunday, April 23,
2023.

Company was started by Keith Davenport in 1971. Since then, there
have been many teenage choir members, adult sponsors, and families
involved in spreading the Good News of Jesus through music and
drama. Good News will be celebrating 50 years (postponed because of
Covid) with a reunion and concert on May 27-28, 2023. If you have
traveled with Good News as a member or a sponsor, you are invited to

Everyone is invited to the concert on Sunday, May 28th, at 6 p.m. It
is a concert you will not want to miss.
