Russel Allen Garden Day March 18th at the Oasis Senior Center

 

[March 16, 2023]    The University of Illinois Extension Logan County Master Gardeners will host Russel Allen Garden Day on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Oasis Senior Center, 2810 Woodlawn Road, Lincoln.

Event will run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, with registration from 8 to 8:45 am. The public is invited for this event that will feature various presentations related to gardening.

Keynote presentation will be Attracting Pollinators to Your Garden presented by Ken Johnson, University of Illinois Extension Horticulture Educator.

Breakout sessions will include: Mason State Tree Nursery, Native Trees and Much More; Easy Orchids, Growing and Propagating Orchids; Diversifying the Farm; and Gardening Methods for Small Spaces.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged with a discounted ticket price if completed before March 15th.  You may also register at the door the morning of the event.
