Phil loved to fish and hunt any chance he could, but he was most passionate about his music and for much of his life played in a band that frequently included members of his family. Later in his life, he owned a piano store in Lafayette, Tenn., where he gave guitar lessons and rebuilt pianos and furniture.

Donations in Phil’s memory may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad or Humane Society of Logan County.

Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
