At
the College’s Board of Trustees meeting held Tuesday night, the
lease for space inside the Illini Building at 2201 Woodlawn Road in
Lincoln was renewed for a period of three years by a unanimous vote
of all seated members.
Heartland Community College Lincoln Director Jennifer Kirby also
gave a presentation on operations at the regional center.
Unduplicated enrollment for the Lincoln service area student
headcount increased from 327 students in the 2022 academic year to
346 in 2023. This includes students from classes taken at Heartland
Community College Lincoln, the main campus in Normal, online, and
students taking dual credit courses in area high schools.
Heartland Community College Lincoln hosts classes in the
undergraduate credit program, Adult Education, and Continuing
Education.

HCCL also provides a location to
offer college-related services including testing, advising,
tutoring, financial aid, and processes associated
with Heartland’s College NOW dual credit program for Logan
County secondary education students.
The service area for Heartland Community College Lincoln
includes Lincoln, Atlanta,
Hartsburg/Emden, Beason and surrounding areas.
