[March 25, 2023]  MIDDLETOWN - Elizabeth Twyman, 62, of Middletown, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Visitation: 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln

Service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church

Obituary

Elizabeth Twyman, 62, of Middletown, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Twyman will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln with Rev. Christopher Simpson officiating.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the church.

Cremation Rites have been accorded.

Elizabeth Thompson was born on November 12, 1960, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of Donald Homer and Elizabeth Wicker Thompson. She was united in marriage to Robert James Twyman on April 12, 2001. He survives.

Also surviving are her children: Jason (Jessica) Allen, Peyton (Allen) Wahlsmith, Stephanie (Virgil) Letterle, and Brock A. Twyman; and four grandchildren: Killyian "Dig" Reed, Madison M. Allen, Kaitlynn Anderson, and D.J. Keller.

Funeral Director

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Bruce Thompson.

Elizabeth graduated from Lakeside High School and Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

She is a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Lincoln and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur, Georgia.

Elizabeth worked in the medical field as a nurse for over 40 years, last working at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital for more than 20 years in the Emergency Department.

Memorials can be made to the Lincoln Memorial Hospital Foundation.

Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
