Obituary
Billie Mae Bock, 99, of Lincoln,
passed away at the Christian Nursing Home at 6:03
a.m. Saturday March 25, 2023.
Billie was born on January 16, 1924, in Summerset,
KY, to William and May (Stevens) Haynes. She married
Everett Wayne Bock on December 15, 1943. He preceded
her in death on October 2, 2001.
Surviving are her three children, Rebecca Bock of
Towanda, Roger Bock of Williamsville, and Gerald
Bock of Knoxville, TN, four grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by
her parents, husband and two sisters, Marjorie, and
Maxine.
Billie was an avid gardener, loved
her veggies, flowers and birds and would make floral
arrangements for the church on Sundays. She was also
an organist for the church for decades and a member
of the American Legion Auxiliary. |
Services for Billie will be at 10
a.m. on Wednesday March 29, 2023, at the Elkhart
Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Moreau officiating.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the
church. Burial will follow at Elkhart Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Elkhart Methodist Church.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln was
entrusted with services.
