Obituary
Stephanie Jo Gleason, 38, of Lincoln,
passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the
Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on
Friday, March 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's
Catholic Church in Atlanta. Burial will be in Holy
Cross Cemetery in Lincoln.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023,
at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln from 5:00
p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held
at 4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation.
Stephanie Jo Gleason was born on April 2, 1984, in
Lincoln, the daughter of Joseph Lee and Vicki Eckert
Gleason, Jr.
She is survived by her mother: Vicki Eckert, her
father: Joseph L. (Jinx) Gleason, Jr., her
companion: Barry Bringham, her sister: Jenna
Rynerson, stepsister: Courtney Awe, stepbrother:
Clint (Madison) Awe, her paternal grandmother:
Dorothy Gleason, and several Aunts, Uncles and
cousins also survive. |
She was preceded in death by her
sister: Heather Gleason, Maternal grandparents: Ben
and Joann Eckert, and Paternal grandfather: Joseph
L. Gleason, Sr.
Stephanie graduated from the Lincoln Community High
School in 2002 and then from the Midwest Technical
Institute. She was last employed at the Springfield
Clinic in the Dermatology Department as a Medical
Assistant.
Stephanie loved watching the St. Louis Cardinals,
playing with her niece and nephews, watching scary
movies, playing cards with her family, and spoiling
her cats.
Memorials may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley
Funeral Home of Lincoln.
