Obituary
Dolores J. Berger, 92, of Lincoln
passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Timber
Creek Village.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Berger will be held on
Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Peasley
Funeral Home in Lincoln with Rev. Larry Moreau
officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of
the service.
Burial will follow at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.
Dolores Jean Davison was born on September 21, 1930
in Middletown; the daughter of Jim W. and Matilda
“Tillie” Steinhour Davison. She was united in
marriage to Paul Howard Berger on June 5th, 1954. He
preceded her in death on November 27, 2008.
She is survived by her grandchildren: Larissa (Clay
Roberts) Berger, Christopher Berger, Elyse Berger,
Robyn Berger, and Bradley Berger. Great
grandchildren: Lillian Bing, Cayden Beaber, Brooke
Beaber, Isaac Berger, and Lucas Berger. She had a
faithful companion in her sweet kitty Boo. |
She was preceded in death by her
beloved three sons: Larry, Ronald and Brian Berger.
Daughter in law: Jacqueline Berger. Three brothers:
Raymond, William and John Davison. Two sisters: Ruby
Haberland and Mary Loeffler.
Dolores was the Valedictorian at Middletown High
School in 1948. She worked at Lehn and Fink. She was
a member of the Middletown Methodist Church. She
enjoyed playing BINGO and was a life long CUBS fan.
Memorials may be made to her family.
