[April 04, 2023]  VIRGINIA IL - Bobby Cisco, 81, formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.

Service:  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023, at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

Bobby Cisco, 81, formerly of Atlanta, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.

Bobby was born on August 29, 1941, in Springfield, the son of Amos and Margaret (Russell) Cisco. He married Margene Cook in Springfield. She preceded him in death in 2004. Bobby later married Barbara Lovin, she preceded him in death in 2019.

Bobby is survived by his mother, Margaret; sons, Robert, Wesley, Keith, and Kevin Cisco; daughters, Christina Dirks, Julie (Gregory Wilson) Rusk, Denise (Gregory) Shook, and Daphne (J.R.) Smith; fifteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and siblings, David Cisco, and Chris Anders.

He was preceded in death by his father; first and second wife; sister, Linda; brother, Gary; daughter-in-law, Marsha; two grandchildren, Zoe, and Matthew; and brother-in-law, Rich Anders.

Bobby worked as a railroad foreman for Illinois Central Gulf for many years. He proudly served in the US Marines. Bobby was an Elvis Presley fan and was very proud of his own signature sideburns. During his free time, he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, occasionally working on vehicles, and spending time with family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2023, at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln.

Cremation rites have been accorded to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
