 Mr.
and Mrs. Hursh did not have any children of their own, but education
remained very important to them. They believed that society should
encourage the real achievers among us.
As has been done for the last twelve years, and will
be for the next ten years, the valedictorian and the salutatorian of
Lincoln Community High School will each receive 25% of the annual
trust earned income. This year’s recipients will each receive
$28,288.98.
The 2023 Valedictorian is Caralyn Farnam. Caralyn is
the daughter of Craig and Denise Farnam. Caralyn plans to attend
Lake Land College in Mattoon.

The 2023 Salutatorian is Rachel Morrow. Rachel is the
daughter of Gregory and Peggy Morrow. Rachel plans to attend Saint
Louis University in St. Louis, MO.
