Tammy Rene Simpson, 55, of
Hartsburg, passed away May 9, 2023 at her home.
Cremation rites have been accorded by Holland Barry
& Bennett Funeral Home. A celebration of life
potluck will be held Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 1-3
at the Hartsburg American Legion.
Tammy was born October 25, 1967 in Lincoln, IL., the
daughter of Jon and Mary Lou (Aper) Wibben. She
married Craig Simpson on June 23, 2012. He preceded
her in death on August 13, 2021. Tammy was a 1985
graduate of Hartsburg Emden High School. She was a
CNA for several years, taking care of many people.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, watching her
son Myles race, and she fiercely loved her friends
and family, especially her grandbabies.

Survivors include her father Jon Wibben; her children Myles (Maddie)
Moos and Hope Moos (Brett Huff); granddaughters Eisley Moos and Kennedy Moos;
her siblings Connie (Jeff) Sherwood, Robin Wibben, and Kim (Bret) Bacon. Several
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband, and her son Kevin Standley.
Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of Myles Moos and will be
accepted at the funeral home.
