Linda
has been a well known and accomplished piano and organ player for
many years in the Logan county area having taught at LCU and given
hundreds of lessons to area students as well. She had been involved
with virtually everything musical; such as recitals, weddings,
funerals, area music society, theatre and the like.
Not only is she known for her great talent but for her endearing
wit. She has this uncanny ability to bring storytelling and humor
into her performances that brings music to life with great emotion
and deep connection.
She and her husband Randy have been out of the area for a number of
years and their visits back have been delightful. Today's program
was no exception with whimsical to dramatic and fingers just 'a
flying.

The most notable piece of the day was a piece that
took eight hands to play. Linda, accompanied by Kay Dobson, Dinelle
Franklin and Tim Searby played a beautiful piece on two pianos.
Amazing!
