Lifeguards’
training will be paid, as well as beginning group swim lessons for
any child in need residing in the park district area.
LWC is so grateful for two grants received to enhance the club’s
funding. The Illinois Prairie Community Foundation granted $1,500,
and Eaton Corporation in Lincoln granted $2,000 to the project. Many
children will benefit from their generosity.
The Lincoln Woman’s Club donated $3,000 from community fundraising
events, plus over $600 raised during monthly meeting raffles. The
club received a member donation.

The Woman’s Club would like to thank the community for kindly
supporting the fundraisers. The club strives to improve the
community in many ways and needs the support of the entire
community to achieve those goals.
