Janice Cordray, 64, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Janice was born December 1, 1958, the daughter of Gerald and Marylyn (Lee) Lolling Sr. She married Colby Cordray on June 24, 1978, in Hartsburg.

Janice is survived by her husband, Colby; children, Amanda (Cam Trovillion) Cordray, Matthew (Penny Summers) Cordray, Jennifer (Jared Morris) Coon, and Kayle Cordray; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and siblings, Gerald (Antonia) Lolling Jr., and Diana (Kevin) Leindl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and Marian Steigman.

Janice enjoyed gardening and watching the Gameshow Network, especially Press Your Luck and Family Feud. She took pride in and enjoyed decorating her home for every holiday.

In her younger years, she was associated with both Boy & Girl Scouts. Janice was an accomplished CNA working for numerous healthcare and long-term care facilities, most recently with St. Clara’s. But above all else, Janice loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Services for Janice will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place two hours prior from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date.
