[May 25, 2023]   This year, Memorial Day services will be held Monday May 29th at the American Legion Post 263.

The service will commence at 10:30 a.m..  The speaker this year will be Judge Feeney who was a Captain in the Marine Corp and Jim Allen will also join us for prayer.

The service will be held outside weather permitting. Seating will be furnished , but guests may bring lawn chairs if they wish.

And, as is the annual tradition, there will be a ham and bean lunch served in the Legion Banquet Hall immediately afterward.

Memorial Day is a day to remember those who gave all for the freedoms American enjoy.  It is the hope and desire of the American legion that many in the community will come as a show of respect and thanksgiving for those soldiers who no longer walk among us.

The sacrifices of the few for the good of the many is deserving of our attention and respect on this special day.
