EMERGENCY MESSAGE FROM
MT. PULASKI MAYOR MATT BOBELL
Dear Residents,
I would like to remind everyone to be mindful of the
following:
There have been 2 water main breaks in the last 24 hours,
which has deeply affected our water supply which has caused
the water shortage / outage.
If you do have water, please conserve all that you can.
No burning of any type outside, due to the water shortage /
outage. We don't want to cause any fire issues, when our
water supply is this low.
We've reached out to American Water to bring bulk water for
the residents of Mt. Pulaski. They have indicated that
they're working on it.
We understand this is a very frustrating situation, but
please be patient with us and hopefully American Water will
have these repairs done in the near future.
We will keep you posted on this situation as we are made
aware of any ongoing changes.
Regards,
Mayor Matthew Bobell |

Heitzig set to run
at State
Becca Heitzig will be running on Saturday in the 2023
IHSA Class 2A State XC Championships at Detweiller Park
in Peoria.
Heitzig won the Class 2A XC Sectional Championship at
Jacksonville last Saturday. Heitzig won the race and set
a course record with a time of 16:26.9.
The LCHS senior standout in Track and Cross Country
committed to Iowa State in October, fitting college
visits in between a busy running and volleyball
schedule.
In fact, Heitzig will be on the court tonight as the
Lady Railers volleyball team plays for a Super-Sectional
title at Taylorville.

Congratulations and good luck, Becca!!
