[October 31, 2023]  PEORIA - Steven James Standley, 61, of Peoria, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Sharon Healthcare Pines in Peoria.

Service:  A burial for Steve will be held at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln at a later date.

Steven James Standley, 61, of Peoria, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at Sharon Healthcare Pines in Peoria.

Steve was born June 27, 1962, in Lincoln, the son of James A. and Barbara (Bunner) Standley.

Steve is survived by his brother, Kevin (Lisa) Standley of Petersburg; sister, Dawn (Dave) DeFraties of Springfield; nieces, nephews, and his cherished extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A burial for Steve will be held at New Union Cemetery in Lincoln at a later date. Cremation rites have been entrusted to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
