The Lady Railers are headed to the
Super-Sectional tomorrow night in Taylorville and according to
local law enforcement, the team will be given a police escort
out of town before the game. The team will also be escorted
through Lincoln tomorrow night after the game.
The Lady Railers bus will leave the high school this afternoon
approximately between 3:45 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The team will be
escorted out of town by Officer Jason Rohrer. The bus will
travel down Wyatt Avenue, turn north on Kickapoo Street, west
onto Broadway Street, south onto Logan Street, west onto 5th
street, and then south onto Lincoln Parkway, where they will get
onto the interstate. Fans are invited to line the streets in
downtown Lincoln or anywhere along the route and cheer the team
on.
After the game tomorrow night, fans can meet in the Farm and
Home parking lot, where the Lady Railers bus will meet up with
fans. The route back to the high school will go east on Woodlawn
Road to Keokuk Street, south on Kickapoo Street, east onto Wyatt
Avenue and into the parking lot of Lincoln Community High
School.
