[October 30, 2023]   In spite of the cold and rainy weather Sunday, October 29th several first responder vehicles were lighting up the Lincoln Christian Church parking lot for kids to visit.

At each vehicle, members of the Lincoln Christian Church high school youth group handed out candy to the children. In another area there were pulled pork sandwiches, chips and drinks available for sale. The Brew 366 coffee trailer was also out selling coffee, hot chocolate and cider to help keep warm.

Some children also received flashlights. Those who wished to see the inside of a fire truck had a chance to climb up in one with the help of firefighter Ben Roland.

Many families were out enjoying the activities being offered and meeting first responders like Logan County Sheriff Mark Landers, EMA director Kendall Caruthers and other who help keep people safe.
