Obituary
Michael “Mike” Neuhaus, 75, of
Kinderhook (formerly of Lincoln), passed away on
October 28, 2023, at his home.
Mike was born May 30, 1948, in Washington, MO, the
son of Robert Neuhaus.
Mike is survived by his children, Jeremiah “Jamie”
(Angie) Neuhaus, Tina Johansson, James Neuhaus,
Hunter (Heaven) Neuhaus, and Pamela (Isaac) Doyle;
his longtime companion, Diana McDonald, his
grandchildren, Alexis, Emily, Paige, Trinity, Kolin,
and soon to be Bentley; great-grandchildren, Theo
and Wren, and one on the way, Jasper; and his
siblings, Jerrel Neuhaus, Shirley Potter, Danny
(Sandy) Neuhaus, Linda Miller, Gary Neuhaus, and
David Neuhaus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert.

Mike proudly served his country as a
member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He
managed Lincoln Sand and Gravel for many years. Mike
enjoyed fishing, hunting, and collecting guns. He
loved animals and especially spending time with his
Doberman, Zeus.
A graveside service for Mike will be held at 11 a.m.
on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Zion Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Mike’s name to Illini
Hospice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
