Lady Stags
LCHS Lady Railers
Friday was another
history making day for high school sports in Logan
County. The day began with a big win for the
Hartsburg-Emden Lady Stags as they won their right
to compete for the IHSA Class 1A Volleyball State
Championship. The girls punched their ticket to
today’s playoffs in two sets with impressive leads
at the win in both sets.
Later in the day Lincoln also punched their ticket
to the playoffs with a three-set semifinal. The
nailbiter kept Railer Nation on its feet as the
girls went up against Chicago St. Ignatius College
Prep. After dropping the first set, the Lady Railers
came back with with a new determination and took the
next two.
LDN is pleased to have thorough coverage of both the
Hartem and Lincoln games in today’s edition. Look

points for each team as well as videos from both
postgame press conferences.
