- Jeffrey “Jay” Renfro, 50, of Middletown, passed
away on Friday, November 17th, 2023, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Obituary
Jeffrey “Jay” Renfro, 50, of
Middletown, passed away on Friday, November 17th,
2023, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Jay was born on June 1st, 1973, in Lincoln, the son
of Terry Renfro and Jennie (Skelton) Stout.
Jay is survived by his 3 children: Leah Renfro,
Derek Renfro (Fiancé: Christina Marshall), and Jacob
Renfro; his 7 grandchildren: Maya, Brinleigh,
Christian, Leo, Dean, Logan, and Ezme; and his
siblings: Terri (Mike) Virgil, Lisa Renfro (Dale
Nelson), Cindy Wendlandt, Michelle Renfro (George
Graham).
He is preceded in death by his parents, infant
brother: John James Renfro, and niece: Andrea
Virgil.
Jay worked in construction for many years and most
recently at Wal-Mart in Lincoln. |
He will be remembered for being
hardworking, a “jack of all trades”, and for his
vast collection of comic books and other
memorabilia. He loved his grandchildren and will be
missed by all.
A Celebration of Jay’s life will be
held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted
to Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
