- Phyllis J. Robinson, 92, of Lincoln, passed away on
Thursday, November 16, 2023, at St. Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care.

Obituary
Phyllis J. Robinson, 92, of Lincoln,
passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at St.
Clara’s Rehab and Senior Care.
Phyllis was born June 15, 1931, in Indianapolis, IN,
the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Melvin) Linne. She
married Jesse Robinson in 1948 in Indianapolis. He
preceded her in death in 2015.
Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Linda (Jerry)
Purlee, Darla (Joe Szoke) Robinson, and Tina Wencel;
five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and
eleven great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband,
and brother, Robert Martz.

Phyllis worked at Stetson China
Factory and later Cutler-Hammer retiring in 1985
after working there for many years. She was an
animal lover, and she enjoyed camping, fishing, and
water-skiing. Phyllis and Jesse preferred to spend
the winters in Florida together.
Services for Phyllis will be held at 11 a.m. on
Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10
a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will
follow the service at New Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Phyllis’ name to Humane
Society of Logan County.
