Saturday was a big day at the Lincoln
Woman’s Club. The club hosted for the first time a Deck the Halls
garage sale and bake sale.
The jest of the sale was that
everything being offered was of a Christmas theme with items offered
ranging from trees to tree decorations and light, lovely items for
the fireplace mantel and much more.
The bake sale was filled with
scrumptious looking sweets ready to take home and devour or save for
Thanksgiving dessert if they had the will power.
The ladies volunteering at the event
were delighted with the turnout and the sales as shoppers built
piles of purchases on tables and stood in line to check out when
they had gathered everything they wanted.
