The Mount Pulaski Hilltoppers lost to Illini
Central 52-40 on Saturday afternoon in the 13th Annual Bill
Rucks Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament.
Illini Central held a 9-8 advantage after the first quarter of
play.
At halftime the Cougars were up 20-17.
By the time the third quarter came to a close, the Cougars were
up 35-31.
Illini Central put together a big fourth quarter to seal the
52-40 victory.
Eric Cooper led Mount Pulaski with 16 points.
The Hilltoppers fall to 1-3 on the season.
