[November 22, 2023]  LINCOLN - Myrtle Goff, 90, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at St. Clara’s Senior and Rehab Care.

Visitation:  10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln

Service:  11 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at the funeral home

Obituary

Myrtle Goff, 90, of Lincoln, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at St. Clara’s Senior and Rehab Care.

Myrtle was born June 4, 1933, in Pine Grove, PA, the daughter of Elmer and Hattie (Schaeffer) Knapp. She married Ray A. “Slick” Goff on February 4, 1956, in Quincy. He preceded her in death in July of 2006.

Myrtle is survived by her children, Sharon (Terry) Baker, Michael (Tammy) Goff, and Reynold (Phyllis) Goff; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; son, Byron Goff; and siblings, Norman Knapp, Marion Hornacek, Helen Moyer, and Reba Laubenstein.

Myrtle enjoyed the simple things in life, people who knew her best remembered her spending time sewing, crafting, and making Christmas cookies for her family.

Services for Myrtle will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. Visitation will take place one hour prior from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. Burial to follow the service at Zion Cemetery in Lincoln.

Memorials may be made in Myrtle’s name to Armington Christian Church or First Baptist Church in Lincoln.
