Our Breast Cancer Awareness photos for today are our friends at Rent One and S.K. Davison. They chose to be a part of our annual Paint the Paper Pink because they want our breast cancer warriors to know that they are supported by their friends, neighbors, and even people they may not know. Either way, it is lovely to see so many in Logan County come together in this special month to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

If you have not experienced this disease, we are so very happy for you. We want all of our community to be healthy and happy. And, we want to help you decrease your risk factors, so here are some tips from the American Cancer Society:

Get to and stay at a healthy weight.

Keep physically active and limit the time you spend sitting or lying down.

Follow a healthy eating pattern that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and limits or avoids red and processed meats, sugary drinks, and highly processed foods.

Don’t smoke.

It's best not to drink alcohol. Women who drink should have no more than one drink per day.

When we first saw this photo by Stephanie Hall, it took just a second to understand why it was among her collection of Halloween Decoration photos for Lincoln Daily News.

Then we saw the eyes, and it really kind of creeped us out! Now we just chuckle.
