Obituary
Tom Seefeldt, 93, of Lincoln, passed
away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at his home.
Tom was born December 13, 1929, in Lincoln, the son
of Ferdinand and Ferne (Dyer) Seefeldt. He married
Donna Wall on November 25, 1960, in Granite City,
IL.
Tom is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Jeff
(Cindy) Seefeldt, and Nancy Seefeldt; grandchildren,
Ryan Oro, Sarah Oro, and Megan Armstrong, one
great-grandson, David Armstrong; and many nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one
brother, Boyd (Jane) Seefeldt.
Tom proudly served in the United States Army during
the Korean Conflict. After returning home, Tom
worked at Ball-Incon as a warehouse manager,
retiring after 44 years. He was a lifetime member of
the Lincoln Elks. Tom was an avid golfer. |
He belonged to Faith Lutheran Church,
where he served as an elder. Tom joined the American
Legion Post #263 of Lincoln in 1955 and continued as
a member. During their time together, Tom and Donna
enjoyed traveling all over the world.
Services for Tom will be held at 11:00 am on
Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Church
in Lincoln. Visitation will take place two hours
prior from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. also at the church.
Burial will follow the service at New Union
Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in Tom’s name to Faith
Lutheran Church or Safe Haven Hospice.
