A true Logan County murder mystery to be the topic of October LCGHS meeting

[October 12, 2023]   With Halloween approaching, Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society President Bill Donath has selected a murder mystery from 1883 for his Monday evening, Oct. 16, presentation. Taken from the pages of the Lincoln Herald newspaper, Donath will relate the story of Zura Burns. The murder drew a big following in its time.

Following the program, there will be a brief business meeting, and refreshments will be served. The public is invited to attend.

The Logan County Genealogical & Historical Society is a non-profit organization which owns its own building and promotes saving the history of Logan County and its people. Historical & monetary donations are always welcomed.
