Wil Lutz kicked four field goals, including the decisive
52-yarder with 3:50 remaining, to help the Denver Broncos record a 19-17
victory over the visiting Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
P.J. Locke notched his first career interception with 1:40 remaining as
Denver (2-5) snapped a two-game slide. Russell Wilson completed 20 of 29
passes for 194 yards and one touchdown, Courtland Sutton caught a
touchdown pass and Javonte Williams had 96 yards from scrimmage (82
rushing, 14 receiving) for the Broncos.

Jordan Love was 21-of-31 passing for 180 yards,
two touchdowns and one interception for the Packers (2-4), who
lost their third straight game. Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed had
scoring catches for Green Bay.
Aaron Jones returned from a hamstring injury and had 35 yards on
eight carries and caught three passes for 22 yards for the
Packers.
Green Bay trailed by nine and was held scoreless until Anders
Carlson kicked a 29-yard field goal with 10:24 left in the third
quarter.
Denver answered with the game's first touchdown drive. The
seven-play, 75-yard excursion was capped by Wilson's 18-yard
scoring pass to a wide-open Sutton to make it 16-3 with 6:17
left in the third quarter.
The Packers got closer on their next possession as Doubs and
Denver's Patrick Surtain II both had possession of Love's pass
as they fell to the ground in the end zone. The officials used
the tie-goes-to-the-receiver rule to make the call on the play,
so Doubs' 16-yard scoring catch pulled Green Bay within six with
1:46 left in the period.
The Packers moved ahead on another freak passing play that
capped an 11-play, 76-yard drive. On fourth-and-2 from the
Denver 4-yard line, Love threw a pass that deflected off the
hands of Doubs and went into the end zone directly to Reed as
Green Bay took its first lead at 17-16 with 8:31 left in the
contest.
Denver responded with Lutz's fourth field goal to move ahead by
two. The 52-yarder is Lutz's longest of the season.
Locke intercepted Love's throw on the next possession and the
Broncos ran out the clock.
Lutz kicked field goals of 32, 29 and 35 yards in the first half
to give Denver a 9-0 lead.
The Broncos began the game with an 11-play, 62-yard drive that
led to Lutz's first field goal.
Lutz tacked on the field goals of 29 and 35 yards in the second
quarter.
Denver outgained Green Bay 209-100 in the first half. The
Broncos finished with a 339-331 edge.
