First Degree Murder
On October 20th, 2023, at approximately 4:40 p.m. Lincoln Police
Officers responded to a home in the 1400 block of North Logan Street
for a person down. Officers located an adult male victim without
signs of life and were unsuccessful in their attempts to revive him.
The preliminary investigation revealed the victim was in a fight
prior to his death.

The Lincoln Police Department
conducted an investigation regarding the incident which led to
the arrest of 31 year old Tyler W. Richardson, of Lincoln,
Illinois at approximately 1:46pm on October 24"’, 2023 in
Lincoln, Illinois.
The investigation regarding the victim's death is still ongoing.
