Ella Martin joins the 1,000th point club

[October 26, 2023]    Ella Martin, a seventh grader for the Mount Pulaski Honeybears, scored the 1,000th point in her basketball career on Thursday night versus the Chester East Lincoln Panthers.

Martin plays for both the seventh and eighth grade Honeybears every game and she earned her 1,000th point in the first quarter of the eighth grade game versus the Panthers.

Ella Martin joined the 1,000 point club. She is just the fourth player in Honeybear basketball history to reach this milestone.

Her two points in the paint, on the assist from teammate Olivia Smith, put her in the exclusive club.

In the seventh grade game Mount Pulaski won 40-15 over CEL with Martin scoring 24 points.

In the eighth grade game Mount Pulaski won 35-15 over CEL with Martin scoring 20 points.
