Jordan Love completed 24 of 41 passes for 229
yards, one touchdown and one interception for Green Bay (2-5).
The Packers have lost four consecutive games.
Cousins' injury late in the fourth quarter changed the tenor of
the Vikings' victory. He was injured on a non-contact play, and
his right leg wobbled as he planted his foot.
After Cousins hobbled off the field, he was carted toward the
locker room.
Jaren Hall, a rookie fifth-round draft pick out of BYU, replaced
Cousins at quarterback and finished 3-for-4 for 23 yards.
The Vikings took control against their NFC North division rivals
after halftime.
Cousins found Hockenson for a 2-yard score on the first series
of the second half to increase Minnesota's lead to 17-3.
Less than two minutes later, Cousins hit Addison in stride for a
20-yard touchdown to make it 24-3. The score was set up by an
interception by Vikings safety Josh Metellus.
Green Bay pulled within 24-10 when Love tossed a 1-yard
touchdown pass to Romeo Doubs in the left corner of the end
zone. That capped a 14-play, 81-yard scoring drive.
The game remained scoreless until the final two minutes of the
first quarter, when Akers punched in a 6-yard rushing touchdown
to give the Vikings a 7-0 lead. Akers muscled past a defender
and fell into the end zone for his first touchdown since joining
Minnesota on Sept. 20 in a trade with the Los Angeles Rams.
A 25-yard goal by Greg Joseph increased the Vikings' advantage
to 10-0 early in the second quarter.
The Packers trimmed the deficit to 10-3 as time expired in the
first half. Anders Carlson made a 30-yard field goal.
