September 11th memorial flags to be displayed at the Mt. Pulaski Courthouse for 2023

[August 31, 2023]     The Young Conservatives of Logan County flag display began in 2020 as a way to honor and remember the American lives lost on September 11, 2001. The group has been privileged to be able to continue this display thanks to the generosity and support of those throughout Logan County.

The display has been located on the Logan County Courthouse lawn for the last two years thanks to the permission of the Logan County Board. This year the group will be displaying the flags on the lawn of the Mt. Pulaski Courthouse. The goal is to move the display to other sizable areas within Logan County for all to enjoy.

Volunteers will set up the American flags on the courthouse lawn in Mt. Pulaski on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. If anyone would like to join in setting the flags, all would be welcomed. The flags will be displayed for a week, with the group taking them down on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
