After starting at the Lincoln Park District, runners
made their way down Wyatt Street and took a left turn onto Home
Avenue. They then turned around at the end of Home Avenue, coming
back to Wyatt Street before finishing at the Kickapoo side of Scully
Park.
As runners made their way through the streets,
cheerleaders from Lincoln Community High School and Lincoln Junior
High School cheered them on.
For the Jansen and Fanning families, the race was a
family affair. In addition, little six year Amelia ran with her
grandfather.
