Obituary

Former Lincolnite Anne C. (Langenbahn) Moriearty passed peacefully on Sunday, August 13 in Brandon, Florida with her son, Matthew Moriearty, at her side. She was prepared and ready for freedom from her earthly crosses.

Anne was born on December 15, 1953 in Lincoln, to parents Howard Langenbahn and Jenetta Bailey Langenbahn. Anne's marriage to John Moriearty gave her the gift of her life—her son, Matthew. Matt gave her pride and joy and was the center of her life; he continued to give her peace and love as her main caregiver to the end.

Anne always saw the best in everyone and enjoyed giving to others her time and items she created, including handcrafted ceramics and jewelry. Anne was a “Creative Memories” consultant at one time. One of the most valued treasures she leaves behind is her collection of history and memories of her family and friends which shows her love of life. She will always be a special memory to all who knew her.

Family survivors are her son, Matthew Moriearty; brother Jerry (Janet)Langenbahn, Lincoln, Illinois; sister, Sandra "Cis" Thudium, Eugene, Oregon; nieces Wendy Thudium, Carrie Jacobson, Christy Colericl‹, Julie Vineyard; and Nephew Chad Thudium.

She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Jason Langenbahn.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services at this time.
