Eaton Corp Lincoln donates $120,000 to
local organizations

Each
year, Eaton donates nearly USD $9M to organizations in Eaton
communities around the world. These donations support arts and
culture, community and economic development, education, environment,
health and human service programs and more.
The Lincoln site supports this initiative through our local
Community Support Committee which awards monies to deserving
organizations in the community at a local level. In 2022 we donated
over $22,000 to local organizations in the area.
Once a year, applications are taken for larger grants that are
awarded from our Corporate Contributions Committee. This year we
were given $120,000 for deserving organizations in our community
through this process.
Humane Society $5000 to help create a second
isolation room for newly arriving animals.
District 27 $5000 for a Decodable Reading Book program for
K-5.
United Way $5000 for Dolly Parton Library – provides a book a
month to registered children from birth to age 5 at no cost.

Salvation Army $5000 for Food Pantry and
Veteran’s Shelter.
Immanuel Lutheran Food for Thought Program $4000 for weekend
meals for low income Washington Monroe students throughout the
school year.
Lincoln Rural Fire $6000 to purchase and upgrade on scene
lighting for ladder truck.
Central Illinois Veteran’s Commission $25000 to build a home
for a qualified veteran.
Senior Citizen’s of Logan County (Oasis) $5000 for roof and
ceiling repairs.
Community Action Partnership of Central Illinois $60,000 for
Senior Nutrition and Transportation Program.
