Obituary
Sandra Jean Moehring, 68, of Lincoln,
passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Lincoln
Memorial Hospital.
Sandra was born June 1, 1955, in Paris, France, the
daughter of Harold and Jean Marie (Woodley) James.
She married Daniel Moehring on October 21, 1978, in
Manito. He survives.
Sandra is also survived by her children, Leslie
(Travis) Simpson, Lydia (Christopher) Allen, and
Laura (Ben) Lefelstein; grandchildren, Bradyn and
Beckett Allen, Emilee and Adlee Simpson, and Knox
Lefelstein; and her siblings, David (Jean) James,
and Renée (Victor) Diver.
She was preceded in death by her
parents.

Sandra worked as a X-Ray Technician
at Memorial Care in Lincoln for many years. She
enjoyed being at home on the farm with her husband,
making it a home for her family. Sandra absolutely
adored her grandchildren.
Services for Sandra will be held at 10 a.m. on
Friday, September 8, 2023, at Zion Lutheran Church
of New Holland. Visitation will take place from 4
p.m. to 7 p.m. the night prior, Thursday, September
7, 2023, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln. Burial to follow the service at Allen Grove
Cemetery in San Jose. Memorials may be made in
Sandra’s name to Zion Lutheran Church of New Holland
or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
