The Hartsburg-Emden volleyball team defeated
Athens on Tuesday night.
The Stags Varsity won 25-21 and 25-18.
In each set the Varsity had to come from behind to win. In set
one, the Stags trailed 8-16 before finding their way to a win.
In set two, the Stags were down 1-6 early and came back to take
control.
Alayna Briggs led the Stags with 18 kills. Briggs also had 5
blocks. Addie Beekman had 9 kills.
The Stags Junior Varsity won 25-21 and 25-20.
