 The
Hartsburg-Emden Stags finished the 2023 Mount Pulaski Fall
Festival Tournament with a 3-1 record and a fifth place finish.
The Stags lost the first match to Williamsville on Saturday
morning by scores of 23-25 and 19-25.
Hartem then defeated Lanark Eastland 25-19 and 25-14.
In the Silver Bracket that afternoon, the Stags defeated St.
Thomas More 25-18 and 25-20.
The Stags finished the day by defeating Decatur Unity Christian
(formerly LSA) 25-18 and 25-12.
Alayna Briggs was named to the all-tournament team.
The Stags improved their record to 13-2 on the season.
