Alyssa Schmidt, director of quality, safety and compliance at Lincoln Memorial Hospital, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

The American College of Healthcare Executives is an international society of healthcare leaders. Only 8,866 healthcare executives nationwide have achieved the FACHE credential, which requires candidates to fulfill multiple requirements that include meeting academic and experiential criteria, earning continuing education hours, demonstrating professional/community involvement and passing a comprehensive examination.

“This is a tremendous professional accomplishment for Alyssa and reflects her strong commitment to our patients, organization and community,” said Dolan Dalpoas, president and CEO of Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Schmidt began her career at LMH as a physical therapist assistant in 1998. Since 2013, she has held multiple administrative and leadership roles in the areas of quality, safety and compliance. She lives in Lincoln with her husband of 25 years, Adam. She has been a member of the Lincoln Community High School Board of Education since 2017 and serves in several volunteer and leadership roles at Open Arms Christian Fellowship.
