Once again this year, the Pink Pumpkin Fundraiser Auction will feature a handmade comforter from Kathleen Birnbaum. A Cancer Survivor herself, she has made a number of these comforters over the years and has donated to the auction several times. This year, as always, the blanket is made from Relay for Life tee-shirts from past years.

This item will be part of the live auction on Thursday, October 5th at Collision Concepts in Lincoln. The annual event is the largest fundraiser for the American Cancer Society hosted by the Friends and Family Relay team.

The doors will open at 5 p.m. with food, drink and the silent auction. The live auction will begin at 6:15 p.m. with local auctioneer Mike Maske working the crowd with help from fellow local auctioneer Ty Tucker.

This is a popular event each year, with lots of fun, great food, and all for a good cause. Mark your calendars, and please come out and join us!
