[March 31, 2024]

The Logan County Department of Public Health (LCDPH) is partnering with Who We Play For, an organization out of Florida to provide lifesaving screenings for those ages 10-25 years of age.

Please seriously consider taking advantage of this optional ECG screening. The screening works to identify heart abnormalities in seemingly healthy kids who could be at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). 80% of individuals who suffer from Sudden Cardiac Arrest suffer no symptoms prior to an SCA event. It is estimated that 1 in 300 youth have a heart condition that could lead to SCA.
