[March 31, 2024]  LINCOLN - Jeremiah J. Kirby, 35, of Lincoln passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 1:33 a.m.

Visitation:  Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Service:  4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home

Obituary

 Jeremiah J. Kirby, 35, of Lincoln, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 1:33 a.m.

Funeral Services for Jeremiah will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Cremation Rites will be accorded following the service.

Jeremiah Jay Kirby was born on November 3, 1988 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Charles Eugene Kirby II and Jatana Rose Carlin.

He is survived by his mother: Jatana (Marlon James) Lowe, his father: Charles E. Kirby II, one son: Leighton Kirby, two brothers: James (Ashley) Kirby, and his twin brother: Jonathon (Destiny Davis) Kirby, and his maternal grandmother: Juanita Carlin. Also surviving are his step siblings: Nicole White, Kyle Welch, and Jeremy Alley.

Funeral Director

He was preceded in death by his step brother: Patrick White.

Jeremiah graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 2007. He was employed at Collins Roofing in Atlanta.

His hobbies included skate boarding, music, playing the guitar, fishing, canoeing, and camping. He also loved crosses.

Memorials may be made to his family.
