Obituary
Irma Emelia Kaesebier Leesman was
born October 28, 1924, near Dwight, Illinois,
daughter of Edward and Tina (Trepel) Kaesebier. Irma
went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 19
at 1:07 PM at St. Clara’s Manor, Lincoln.
She was blessed by God through Holy Baptism on
November 23, 1924, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in
Dwight. Irma affirmed her baptismal covenant through
the Rite of Confirmation in 1937 at St. Peter’s
Lutheran Church in Emden. She was a wife, mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother, and
great-great-grandmother.
Irma was preceded in death by her husband, both
parents, and one sister. |
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts
can be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church and
Kogudus.
Irma’s Celebration of Life will be held Saturday,
May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church,
Hartsburg. A reception will follow. At 7:00 p.m., a
sunset interment of ashes will be held at the
Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
