Number One Railer Fan Tim McDougall chosen as Grand Marshal for Friday parade of Champions

The City Council of the City of Lincoln has selected Tim McDougall as Grand Marshal for the 2024 Parade of Champions.

The council received several nominations for Tim and the City Council unanimously agreed that he is a champion for all champions and is deserving of this honor.

Tim volunteers throughout the community and has worked at Lincoln Memorial Hospital for 26 years. He is a highly motivated and driven individual. You can see him at Lincoln Community High School sports such as football and basketball, where he runs the school flag. The City Council wishes to recognize Tim for his love and passion of all Lincoln sports and congratulates him on being selected as Grand Marshal for the 2024 Parade of Champions.

Lincoln’s Parade of Champions is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024. The parade route will mimic that of the annual Christmas parade from Wyatt Ave. to Kickapoo Street to Pulaski Street to McLean Street to Broadway Street, ending at Chicago Street before the railroad tracks.
