[April 07, 2024]    The Railsplitters struggled on Saturday against the Pawnee Indians, getting just two hits and committing two errors while losing 5-0.

Pawnee scored four runs in the top of the second inning off Lincoln’s starter, Carson Fuiten.

Fuiten was tagged for another run in the top of the third inning.

Lincoln’s two hits in the game came by way of Trey Schilling and Karson Komnick.

Schilling started the bottom of the fifth inning with a single but the Indians were quick to dash any scoring hopes with a double play.

Komnick started the sixth inning with a single but again the Railsplitters' hopes were thwarted with a double play that ended the inning.

Carson Fuiten took the loss for Lincoln. He worked two and one-third innings. He gave up seven hits and five runs. Four of the runs were earned. He also walked one and struck out one.

Parker Graue pitched four and two-thirds innings in relief. He gave up two hits and struck out two batters.

The Railsplitters record is an even 5-5 now.
