Dodson
will relate the Edward's Trace story beginning with the history of
the old Indian Trail from its origin of use by wildlife for water,
food, and protection, and how these same needs led to its use by
mankind.
His talk will follow the trail going into the lay of the land from
Edwardsville to Devil's Hole.
The Historical Society is located
at 114 N. Chicago St., across from the Lincoln Depot. The public
is invited to this program, and refreshments will be served
following a brief business meeting.
