On Friday, May 3rd and Saturday, May 4th,
Elkhart NAG (Needs and Goals) will be hosting its annual plant sale
at Village Hall in downtown Elkhart.

On
Friday, the sale runs from 10 am to 6 pm and 8:00 am to noon on
Saturday.
NAG will offer a variety of bedding and vegetable
plants, along with flowering hanging baskets (these go fast).
Everyone who buys a plant(s) will be eligible to enter for a drawing
to a hanging basket.
NAG was established, by Mrs. Susan Green in 1984, with the intent of
working towards the betterment of Elkhart. The main goals of the
group were to provide entertainment, beautification, aid to the
school, and aid to the elderly of the village. NAG funds its
projects through various fund-raisers throughout the year.
In the last five years, the largest NAG project has
been remodeling Veterans Park in downtown Elkhart.
Another, on-going projects is providing Lifelines,
free of charge, to anyone in Elkhart that is in need. The club is
currently funding five Lifelines.

Other projects NAG supports are planting and
maintaining the various flower pots in the downtown area and the
post office, support for post prom at MPHS, donating to the Elkhart
library summer reading program, and helping with a summer food
program.
With the continued support of the community, NAG will strive to help
with as many projects as possible and continue to create civic pride
in Elkhart. Thank you, in advance, for your generosity to our group.
